About

In 1975, I achieved my lifelong dream of becoming a nurse. My career spanned from critical care to labor and delivery – life and death. Unfortunately, it ended after I sustained a work-related neck and back injury. Sad as that was, it was how I was introduced to complimentary therapies.

As part of my physical therapy, the doctor wanted me to have massage for the muscle spasms, pain and soreness that were so debilitating, yet there was no way my massage therapist could touch my back due to all the knots and trigger points – it was way too painful! So she introduced me to reflexology, and through her gentle but firm touch to my feet, I experienced pain relief and relaxation, both physically and mentally, for the first time in months.

I was unable to return to nursing, and other career options were unfulfilling of my life’s purpose to be of service in a way that worked directly with individuals. Looking back, I see this as a blessing because it led me to this wonderful journey of the healing arts – feet first you might say, since it began with reflexology!

Now, some 40 years later, I am still in awe of the way the human body functions, how it communicates from one area to another – so intricate and magical! I am fascinated by the mind-body connection and how it affects us, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Through the years, this understanding has led me to learn and incorporate hypnotherapy, stress reduction, nutrition, and energy medicine into my practice. A well-rounded, whole-istic approach, if you will.

My goal is to teach you techniques that will empower and assist you in your own unique healing journey.

I work with techniques that can help you discover your body’s own innate healing capabilities and that are complimentary to the traditional health care system: Mindfulness, Guided Relaxation, Acu-Wellness, Reflexology, Energy Healing, Hypnosis, and the use of Essential Oils.

I maintain a private practice in North Branford, Connecticut, located within Kos Chiropractic Center. Additionally, I work as an independent contractor at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology department providing reflexology, stress reduction techniques, and aromatherapy.

I look forward to helping you put all of the pieces together!
